Granby's Preservation Barn Building Fund
Dear Granby Chamber Members,
The final fundraising stage is underway for the Salmon Brook Historical Society's Barn Raising. This organization has been working very hard to raise funds in order to build a climate controlled barn that will house many of Granby's relics and important papers. A few weeks ago, it reached the halfway point in its fundraising efforts and we are looking to help it complete the goal.
In April, we will be hosting an event to benefit the Preservation Barn Building Fund. This "ticket required" event will be one to remember. A wide selection of wines and our award winning ales will be available, all donated by The Cambridge House and Center Spirits. Appetizers and a carving station will be offered as well. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Center Spirits or The Cambridge House.
The main feature of the event will be a silent auction and this is where we are hoping that you could help us. We are looking for donations to be auctioned off. This is an excellent time to promote your business as all supporting businesses will be acknowledged in the auction. Any donations will greatly help the Historical Society.
Please call (860) 653-9713 letting the Historical Society know when would be a good time for them to pick up the donated item.
